All articles in this edition were written or co-authored by 20 authors from Southeast Asia and South Asia, representing 7 affiliates and 5 countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, Iran, Singapore, and Nepal. These institutions include prominent universities such as Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq State Islamic University, National University of Singapore (NUS), Tribhuvan University, Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University, Ayatollah Boroujerdi University, Institute of Islamic Banking and Finance Malaysia, and University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta.
This issue seeks to examine Islamic and conventional economics in Southeast and South Asia. This exploration is crucial for understanding the patterns and dynamics present in the various countries that serve as the focus of this study.
